This is a Jadeite Refrigerator Dish (often called a "fridge dish" or "leftover bowl". Measuring 4 inches high and 6 inches across. It is a Fire-King (Anchor Hocking) item. The number 1 is a mold number on the inside of the lid. It is Jadeite, and glows when exposed to a black light telling us that it contains uranium. It was therefore made in the 1930's to 1940's. Later versions do not contain uranium and do not glow. It has a chip on the lid.
